One toggle, two honest states. Current basis resolves the ragged edge of source
currentness with the O'Connor carry-forward — the last complete estimate held constant in real terms and
reflated by the US deflator; nowcast segment drawn lighter. As reported shows the record exactly as
the sources left it — including the zeros that missing branches leak into the aggregate. Exhibit: the US
recognition margin, SR/(PA+NC+HR), 1950–2031 (2026+ on the WEO April-2026 splice in both states).
